All applications to Umicore Finland are submitted online. Simply explore our job vacancies and choose the position you would like to apply for. Before you get started, make sure your CV and cover letter are up-to-date and ready to upload. 

Step 1: Preparation

Good preparation is very important. Start by reading the vacancies carefully and finding the roles that best fit your experience and ambitions. You must upload your CV in either MS Word or PDF format. 

Step 2: Application

Once you have tailored your CV to desired roles and found the job you want to apply for, you can start the application process. 

  • Got to the position you want to apply for? Then click on “View Details” and you will be taken to a page with a full description of that role. 
  • Click on “Apply”. 
  • Once you have created a profile, you can upload your CV in one of the required formats. 
  • Click on “Submit”. 

Step 3: Confirmation

Once you have correctly submitted a complete application, you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail. The recruitment team will then follow up on your application and keep you informed. Every applicant receives communication about the outcome of their application.

Step 4: Screening

Submitted applications will be verified in terms of competences required for a given position. 

Step 5: Selection

Selecting the right candidate for a position can include online or in-person interviews, including with the hiring manager, personality or cognitive tests, and potentially a final interview on-site. 

Step 6: Welcome to Umicore

Upon successful completion of the hiring process, the selected candidate receives an offer of employment, and the onboarding process can begin.
